The Heart behind the words

HI! My name is Korinne Harris and I love to write spoken word poetry. I'm a college student in Florida and I'm a big fan of all things travel, adventure, and aesthetic. I am passionate about two things (1) the power that words carry when they are presented creatively and (2) the power that is available in having a personal relationship with Jesus.

This leads to the vision that I have for this blog: To use creatively crafted words to make the heart of God available for others to encounter the fullness of who He is.

I believe that the message of the gospel has the ability to transform lives, but what often stops that from happening is when people write off the bible/church/prayer as something that isn't relevant to them and that doesn't connect. My heart is to share the gospel with people in a language that they understand. Jesus wants to meet you right where you are, and I believe that they way words are used can be a vessel for that.
