To the person who feels distant from God:

What do you do when you feel distant from God?

As I wrote this spoken word, I recalled conversations that I've had with people who fit into each each of these 3 categories and also times that I have been in one of these categories.

The bottom line wherever is that it's frustrating and that it doesn't make sure in the moment.

But what's beautiful is that God sees us right where we are and he meets us there.

He hears us.

Amid our questions, he asks these questions back:

Is it worth it?

What are you scared of?

How did you forget?

Wherever you are, the truth is that pursuing God requires a consistency that daily decides to walk with him. They call it a walk with God because you don’t just teleport there, you have to daily put in the steps to know God. You have the ability to walk with him, your invitation didn't get lost in the mail.

1 Thessalonians 4:1

"Finally, then, brothers, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, just as you are doing, that you do so more and more."
